Staff Sergeant First Class John C. Beale is Honored

When watching the news coverage of the war in Iraq, it is easy to get discouraged and think that all Americans have turned against our Soldiers.

However, what the normal media doesn't report are stories like this one...stories where real Americans come together to give their last respects and thanks to our fallen warriors.

It is stories like this that give me hope that our country is worth saving. Americans are strong. We just seem to forget that sometimes.

Killed in action the week before, the body of Staff Sergeant First Class John C. Beale was returned to Falcon Field in Peachtree City, Ga on June 11, 2009. The Henry County Police Department escorted the procession to the funeral home in McDonough , Georgia . A simple notice in local papers indicated the road route to be taken and the approximate time. This was filmed during the procession.
